Everyone dreams of a happy life and nobody would ever wish for an unhappy one. However, happiness is different for each individual.
But in general, happiness is found in three main ways:
#1 The first way to Happiness is Time Freedom
It is clear that time is the most expensive element for us because time waits for nobody. Time is a limited resource, and we need to manage our time impeccably.
Have you ever wondered how much time you have available to enjoy your life?
Most people spend their money on their pursuit of wealth and that leaves little to no time to enjoy life.
You might have a lot of money at your disposal and you are also healthy, both physically and psychologically, but you don't have the time to enjoy the money and your health. Are you happy with this situation?
To describe Time Freedom, imagine a situation where you could just leave your phone at home and go on a vacation.
How long can you be without having your work catching up with you?
Freedom of time is not only doing anything you want whenever you like. It is also the mental freedom you have, the absence of psychological burdens, when you enjoy your time, doing whatever you want.
Freedom of Time is freedom from worry. Therefore, if you do not have Financial Freedom and thus still worry about your financial circumstances, you will not be able to enjoy the Freedom of Time.
#2 The second way is Health Freedom
This one is really simple. We are happy when we are healthy.
The activity that I like the most is traveling. Can you imagine if I was to be ill during one of my travels? I have the money and the time for a vacation, but I cannot enjoy my time away because I am not feeling well. Can I be happy? I don't think so.
Freedom of health is maintaining our physical health by sleeping well, eating a nutritious diet, exercising on a daily basis, breathing in fresh air and drinking pure water. It can be hard work to do this every day. But we all know it is what we need to do. Otherwise, we will land up spending more money on our health somewhere down the line.
Would you agree that no amount of money is enough to make you feel happy while you are unwell?
#3 The third way is Financial Freedom
Before you can achieve financial freedom, you may tend to waste a lot of time, sacrifice your health, and spend years worrying about money.
Most people live in a constant state of stress and find life a struggle for survival.
Financial issues can be very taxing in our life. Finally making a lot of money but then not being able to use it, is also something that we never want to experience.
In fact, there are plenty of wealthy people who are afraid to spend their money, simply because they believe that the money might be better invested somewhere else, rather than spent on something they like.
Some might also be wary to spend their hard-earned money because the money doesn't come that easily to them, and if they stop working so hard to earn money, the income might trickle away and stop coming in altogether.
What we really want is for the money to come to our bank accounts without us having to work hard day-in and day-out. Don’t we?
And we want to be able to use our money without having to worry about running out of money.
Financial Freedom is not the same as being lazy, hoping for money to come by without having to give out any effort.
Financial freedom is the fruit of your efforts and hard work. The trick is to put that work in initially and enjoy the fruit for years to come.
To create Financial Freedom is not a difficult issue. All you need is the right knowledge and the right tools.
If you really want to be happy, you need all these three things to be at the same time. Doing what you like is freedom. Liking what you do is happiness.
